Health is no accident. to you and your puppy.
Health Guarantee (One Year):
The seller guarantees that the puppy is free from life-threatening congenital defects for one year from the date of sale. This guarantee explicitly covers the following conditions:
Hips: Only severe hip dysplasia is covered (loose hips are not covered).
Spine: Possible spinal issues will be addressed on a case-by-case basis — taking into account the dog’s quality of life, your veterinarian’s recommendation, and the necessity of surgical intervention. Please avoid letting your dog jump from high places, as this can worsen or trigger treatable conditions such as hemivertebrae.
Luxating Patella: Only grade 4 is covered.
Heart Defects: Heart murmurs of grade 3 or higher.
Kidney and Thyroid Diseases.
Undescended Testicles: Only covered for puppies sold with full breeding or show rights.
Neurological Disorders.
2. Initial Veterinary Examination (Mandatory)
The buyer is required to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt to activate the health guarantee.
A written examination report dated within this timeframe must be sent to the seller immediately by email or mail.
If this report is not submitted to the seller within 14 days of picking up the puppy, the health guarantee will become void.
3. Illnesses Attributable to the Seller
If the puppy is diagnosed with a serious illness that can be proven to be the seller’s responsibility, the buyer may return the puppy for an equivalent replacement (if available).
This requires a clear, written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian.
The buyer is solely responsible for the costs of returning the puppy and transporting the replacement puppy.
4. Common, Non-Serious Puppy Illnesses
The buyer acknowledges that puppies may develop mild symptoms due to the stress of settling into a new environment—such as soft stools or loss of appetite. These symptoms are generally temporary.
5. Excluded Conditions
Coccidiosis and kennel cough are not covered by this guarantee. Both conditions are treatable and not life-threatening.
Coccidiosis is a stress-induced parasite transmitted through feces. Despite hygienic conditions, it is difficult to prevent puppies from ingesting feces.
Kennel cough is similar to a common cold and usually resolves on its own or with simple treatment.
6. Male Puppies with Full Registration
For male puppies sold with full registration (breeding/show rights), the seller guarantees that both testicles have descended.
If this is not the case, and confirmed by a veterinarian, the buyer may return the puppy and receive a replacement (if available).
The buyer is responsible for all transport costs.
7. Demodex (Only with Full Registration)
If a puppy with full registration is diagnosed with Demodex (demodicosis) by a veterinarian, the buyer will receive a replacement (if available) upon returning the affected puppy.
A written confirmation from the veterinarian is required.
No replacement will be provided without the return of the puppy and a veterinary diagnosis.
8. Diagnosis Requirement
A clear, written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian is required for any replacement claim.
Unclear or speculative diagnoses will not be accepted.
The seller reserves the right to verify the information directly with the buyer’s veterinarian.
9. Replacement Puppy Deadline
If a replacement puppy is offered, the buyer must accept it within 24 months. After this period, the claim will expire.
10. In Case of Death
If the puppy dies unexpectedly, a necropsy must be performed at the buyer’s expense.
A written necropsy report linking the death to a covered congenital defect must be submitted along with the registration papers before a replacement is offered.
All transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
11. Veterinary Costs
The seller does not cover any veterinary expenses incurred after the puppy has been handed over to the buyer.
12. Right to Verification
The seller reserves the right to verify all medical information or diagnoses directly with the buyer’s veterinarian.
